I work form home, so I almost never truly take a day off...but....not a lot of people thinking about boat financing when it's 15 degrees outside. So, not a lot of work to do right now.

Our high yesterday was 9. Got up @ 8:30 to 1 weatherman said high was gonna be about 17. 2" of snow on ground wind blowing to make a -20 windchill. Since I'm retired I might just spend the day in my recliner scratching deez.

It's a nice day to sit inside with my feet up, and watch the hundreds of Cardinals and Goldfinches fight at the feeders. There are at least 40 or more.

I'm never off. We have office days or you work remotely since COVID. Honestly, I'm not sure why I bother turning in vacation (or sick) days. It's getting harder to find vacation places with no signal.

I lived in Nevada and carpooled with three others. Got up at 4:00 am, throw the chains on, meet up and drive 30 miles to work. No excuses where we worked.

I’m at work freezing my balls off. The air compressor lines keep freezing up, our bathroom water is turned off, because it’s frozen. We have every heater in the shop going full blast. But…..it’s still hard to work. I’m wiring up a couple cars with new harnesses. 100’s of solder joints. It takes forever to get the solder to set.
