I had to have mine pumped out for the first time since we built in 2017. Lasted 7 years and 4 months and cost 450 bucks to pump out a 1000 gallon tank. I figured it would have cost almost twice that amount. Is this about the going rate??

Sounds high to me , we been at the lake since 98 , had it pumped 3-4 times . I think it was $250. last time,

I have a yearly contract for a septic company to inspect it 3 times a year per our county code. I can use anyone to pump it out though.

When the sprayer heads start getting clogged with debris, it's almost too late.

The person who pumped ours showed me the inside of each tank as he sprayed them out with fresh water after pumping them out. He pumped my sons last year and did the same thing.
