Don't strike your joints until it's set up for a little bit, not hard but not soft either, then brush it down.

Yep, I can't remember the exact time either.

The mortar I used that had pebbles came from Home Depot. I was going to take it back but I was at the end of job and strained most out.



I used to buy a ton of their yellow bagged “Mason mix”, multiple times it would have gravel the size of pencil eraser. Total BS and I had to try to filter out the bigger gravel, that stuff has become garbage over the last couple of years.

He said it's just a couple courses, I'm assuming probably top, if it's a full reconstruction then for sure type S, also I don't know the length or what is exactly being retained volume wise, also keep your trowel clean.

none of our concrete tile roofs leak
