I'm headed back home to visit my folks on Fork next week and was hoping to get some updates on water temp, etc. Unfortunately my dad had to sell his boat last year once the Dr said the dimentia was too far along to be driving so he doesn't get out like he used to. Are they on that pre-spawn redfin/rogue bite yet? Their place is up by White Oak,NE of the 515 bridge. Any info on what it's been like on that part of Fork would be greatly appreciated.

I'll be there the 22nd to the 28th and will probably do most of my fishing in the morning since the major period looks to be in the sunup to mid-morning range, then go again the last hour of daylight.

I’d worry more about water temps. They were in the 60’s a week ago. Last weekend they had dropped 10-15 degrees in some places. But fish bit. But this week we are supposed to have some really cold temps that could drop water temps down in the 40’s.
I’d guess the afternoons would be better.

Totally BSing, yes. Even in Wood County, that would no doubt bring unwanted legal repercussions. But he's never hesitated to harass them until they leave.

Thanks for the input, Sinkey. Much obliged. I'll keep that in mind.

Not sure I'd could on "Major periods" depending on what type of fishing you're doing. If you watch the Elite at Fork this time last year, they caught them all day.

I'll be out there all day on the 27th.

Completely different weather when the Elites were here. We were catching them on beds all of February last year all the way up to the event. You’ve got negative wind chills right now.
