Vicks salve cures everything Mom used to heat up a couple of damp towels (in the oven) and rub my chest down with Vicks, then strap me into bed with the warm towels over the Vicks. I woke up cured the following morning. My mother as well, thinks it's the worlds best cure-all. I hope she uses it for her hemorrhoids. That is actually a real remedy. My wife's Grandmother used mentholathum on her hemorrhoids and swore it cured them. Never tried it though.

Yellow mustard slathered on a burn. Leave it on for few minutes and wash it off. This works great.
Eat one green olive for hiccups. Only had one time in years that this didn't work

a paste made from baking soda and water applied to a wasp sting. Must apply within a minute and rub into the sting. Will neutralize the poison and no pain or swelling. Must be done very quickly.
MO We always used meat tenderizer and water.

Ive been fighting a little skin funk thing for years. It's called Majhocci Granuloma. Looks like eczema but it's not. Ive tried everything. Recently I mixed the lamsil cream, along with eczema cream, and added tea tree oil. It's actually improving.
The stomach issues I have, drinking some mineral oil helps for sure.

If my Mom discovered I had a cut, it would lead to treatment with this stuff. Very painful and unlike the newer stuff in the pic, ours came with mercury! ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2025/02/full-1447-260054-merthiolate.jpg)

Monkey blood cures everything. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2025/02/full-22783-260012-r.jpg) You'd hide in another room with your arm cut off before you let your mom use this stuff............

But it does help with just about every one else. The peeing you pants...not sure about that one. But I do know of a foot pressure point that will make the ladies moan.

I kind of liked it.
