Oh man that's my answer - I've got a bunch of baseball cards I saved up for and bought when I was a kid in the 90s. Still got all the good ones. Makes me feel a little better. Bonds, Griffey, Jeter, McGwire, Sosa, Clemens rookies, tons of Nolan cards

My wife’s engagement/wedding rings I bought in 1968. Is about all I can think of.

I still got my first baseball glove that would be about 61 years old. I think it's a Rawlings.

Some toys I had as a kid. Some I bought with my own money. Some I got as gifts. I still have my Indian 50MM from my second birthday. I also have my MrTouchdown electronic football game “from Mattel!” Haha. Played it the other night.

I guess it would be a set of Blues from basic training, circa 1983.

My wife tried to commit suicide once. She read that if you shoot yourself in the left breast you will die. Well that didn't happen. Instead she blew her left knee cap off.

I have a Rawlings baseball glove I bought @ Gibsons in 1981 (Slow Pitch) that I have carried in every truck I have ever owned. It is under the backseat with my jumper cables. I vacuumed out my truck a few weeks ago and put it on. I`m afraid to take it out after carrying it everywhere I`ve ever driven my trucks for almost 45 years. Superstitious maybe?? confused 3

When I was 17, a Senior in High School, and working, I bought this Garrard Zero 100 turntable. Bought it at Hillcrest Hi Fi. I also purchased what was then a new brand of Receiver / Amp, a Pioneer 727.
I've kept and used the Garrard all my life. I had the motor rewound once and I purchased a new plexiglass dust cover a few years ago. It works perfectly to this day (I'm 69 now).

I own other things that I've had about that long but this one sort of stands out.

My Mossberg & Sons 410 shotgun. Dad gave it to me and his dad gave it to him. I've had it the longest. Since dad passed I got the rest of his collection. Couple old Remington's. one is a 22 pump and the other a 20 ga. single shot. Some others. I will divide them among my sons when the time is right....or skip them and give them to my grandsons.

Remington model 870 that I bought when I was 14 at Gibsons with money from paper route. Oldest possession not purchased by myself is grandfather's 35 caliber muzzleloader. It was originally my great grandfather's.

a very cool story, sir
