Was Looking For a Good Match For my Daiwa 11ft Presso Spinning Rod!

I feel this reel was a good match for my recently acquired 11ft Daiwa Presso. Was considering either a 2500 or a 3000. A 3K has a deeper spool than it's same make & model in a 2500 size. Just means it'll hold a little more line is all. I first got a Fuego until it literally fell apart on me on my first outing with it. Also had shim problems spooling it so the line would be evenly spaced. I do like the Exceler LT3000-C though. Good weight distribution. The "feel" was there. Solid thick bail wire. And a good value when purchased (under $60US).

Thinking of spooling on 200yds of 5lb Sufix Castable Invisiline 100% Fluorocarbon soft mainline on. Have a 200yd BNIB spool just for it. This will be for ocean shoreline species on the flats to the estuary mangroves. Just to have fun. Then catching Scads day & night. Since this was intended for lighter fare i felt i never needed higher retrieval speeds of 6.2/1 of the newer & much more expensive models.
