Mostly flipin or shallow moving baits so far. Leaders haven't used the front looker yet. It will be interesting to see how they use it this week.

Talk about an exciting day...flipping reeds is my absolute all time favorite way to fish.

Poche giving his marshal the business about weighing his fish is hilarious!

Wheeler with 80#'s on the day and hasn't used FSS. Tak, Poche and Bobby Lane all in the top 10 and haven't turned it all today. I am not sure if I noticed anyone catching any with it when they did have it on.

Poche going woodshed on his marshal about how the Bubba scale has a level on it. Is that true? I have a Rapala Tournament Scale, so I don't know. Either way, it was hilarious.

The scale will literally tell you which way to tilt it so the weight can lock. I don't know how BASS and MLF manages to find the most oblivious and immobile people on the planet to be marshals. It's truly incredible.

Yeah, they just forgot to play the first hour. Worked fine after that.

Looks like Poche got out of his head and caught'em. It's poetic justice to make the top 10 and Avena doesn't make it.

Because of the Micheal Neal deal?

EDIT - never mind, just saw the Poche thread...

KP sure is having a tough go today...

YUP! In the beginning, a boat official went thru 2-1/2 days of training in Tulsa. We actually got per diem, mileage, and hotel for the duration of the derby. Not a lot, but you could at least break even. Normally, everyone worked 3-5 events. Cost too much for this to continue. Well, you get what you get. Last year, I don't know what event it was, but it was hot, and the boat official went swimming while his guy was fishing. You can't make this up. roflmao
