What are the Pros and Cons of each style of TM Mount??

Let's not confuse this with Cable vs Electronic steering options. That's a whole other thread.... Likewise... no opinions on TM brands (unless you can't resist).

Since no one else has answered .
here is my 2 cents, I've had several of both , I don't think it matters much. I would choose a TM on other features. First and foremost on my list would
be connectivity to my electronics . Spot lock is key to my fishing style. Last year I changed from Lowrance/Motorguide to all Garmin.
I have a 22 ft CC , so I went with the Garmin Kracken motor. I realize this motor may not fit everyone's needs , but it has
worked great for me and the layout of my boat.

The pivot mount on this motor has a small footprint and I like it.

good luck
