A man getting a physical. The Doctor tells him ok, take off your trousers and underwear and bend over. The man asks" where should I put my clothes?". The Doc says "Over there on the chair next to mine." Also popular When the Doc checks your prostate make sure he only has one hand on your shoulder.

I noticed that also on my yearly physical/checkup a couple of weeks ago. A lot less invasive. I even took a shower and put on clean drawers. I am not on Medicare. She just listened to my lungs and pressed around on my belly. Didn't even check my feet as in the past as part of what they should do for diabetics. No prostate check, said they just do the PSA check for men with no symptoms. Only took about 20 minutes and most of that was catching up since I've been seeing her 20+ years.

Said now drop your undies and this will be fine, I said as long as I don’t feel your hands on my shoulders it will. Man had no sense of humor!

So Medicare via the ACA (Affordable Care Act) now doesn't think we need as close of a look physically, but they sure want to know about any hint of senility or dementia. I want them out of my business, and to administer health insurance and payments when neccessary.

My previous Doc would be talking about fishing and hunting and when it came time, he always said "Robert, believe me this will be as unpleasant for me as it is for you, but it needs to be done".
