This morning I met up with Brady and his boy on a super hot small lake full of big fish. We targeted single roaming fish using the Clobber minnow and Strobe minnow from 6th Sense. We caught probably 20 or so fish mainly in 18-20’ suspended down 8-10’. Our biggest one went 2.89 and Brady’s son caught a 2.84 to take the youth record as well. We drove over to the TPWD fish hatchery in Athens to get them certified. Such a fun day. Give me a call at (903) 203-3768 and let’s go catch them!

Congratulations! Good catches. Always a thrill to see big fish, especially if it is in fact, from “Lake P”. Our best day “ there”was 21 crappie in 21 minutes off the same tree! We started using the 6th Sense Clobber Minnow and love them. Those crappie can’t resist the action of the tails! I will always have one tied on one of my crappie rigs this Spring.
