Town Lake/Lady Bird Lake has always been know for some big ones but a 14# was caught sight/bed fishing from the bank up Barton Creek off Lady Bird Lake right in the middle of downtown Austin! Love the story behind it! That is so awesome I love how some guys spend $100,000+ on bass boat/rod and reels/electronics, and could only dream of catching a fish like that (me included.) This guy walked down to the bank on a river in Austin with a spinning rod and a pack of Zoom flukes and hung a 14 pounder.
