Alright everyone I'm in the early stages of looking for a 4 Runner for my teenage daughters first car. Would like to find something less than 200,000 miles and well taken care of. I'm hopeful that I can find something here instead of Facebook marketplace or Craigslist. This is my first time to buy for either of my children so please take that into consideration. I want her to be safe and not in a piece of junk that could be breaking down all the time. My budget is 10,000 or less. Maybe a little more for the right deal. You can pm me or send me a text at 817-932-5055 Thanks Paul

If you don’t find a 4 Runner you like check out the Toyota Rav 4. They are a little easier to find

Rav4 is going to be my daughter's first car. Bought a 2021 with 130k for $14k maybe 6 months ago. Tons of safety features, 30+ mpg, really comfortable with apple carplay, radar cruise control, front and back collision warning, blind spot monitoring, etc.

Also my buddy has an older one that's over 500k miles. They last freaking forever.

If you're dead set on the larger SUV, the 4Runner is great. But unless you're towing, there's not much functional difference for a high schooler except the Rav4 is cheaper to buy, cheaper to maintain, and much cheaper to fill up.
