Mornin everybody. It's a great day to be alive! It's also a cold day, with the current temp at 26 but with a wind chill of 13! The high this afternoon will be a balmy 40 degrees. Be careful out there, OT. Wear your mittens and earmuffs!! But first, grab a cup and enjoy the warmth. On this day in history, 1692, Scottish soldiers under Archibald Campbell, 10th earl of Argyll, slaughtered members of the MacDonald clan of Glencoe after their chief, Alexander MacDonald, missed the deadline for swearing allegiance to King William III.
