Never tried any and was curious if they work on a jig. Would prefer minnows but nowhere around the ranch sells them.

I/ve tried a few and for numerous reasons ther best are Berkley Power Bait ( pink ) they stay on 10 times better than the little marshmellow ones, dont stain the carpet and there are 75 in the bag. BUT I found that if I use 1/8 oz or 1/16 oz I cut each in 1/2 making 150 nibbles. If I use 1/32 I cut them in 1/3 getting 225. Its rare but a few times I've caught 10 fish on same bait ( usually 4 or 5 on 1 nibble. Cant remember what I paid at Bass Pro thinking like $5.75 is but I just got 10 from catfish connection for $3.95 @ [Linked Image]

I have a lot of confidence in Berkley sparkle nibbles. There make up emits a scent cloud and the sparkles attack attention. Color doesn’t seem to make a difference.

I have used Nibbles in the past especially in the summer when the bite gets tough.

Anyone tried the Pautzke Crappie Fire Balls? I was thinking they would fit perfect in the belly of the new Crappie Magnet Roo.

I like the gel! I spill way more fireballs than I can get ahold of and get on the hook! They're slick!!

That aint no lie!!!!
I bought some to see if I could stuff them in the belly of the Roo and its a no go. If I tried hard enough I could get them to go but they are slightly too big and would pop out after no time at all.
