I honestly couldn't hear any of the songs because we were at a watch party. But it looked like everyone was dressed and the outfits were red/white/blue and it was family friendly, so I got no issue with it.

I'm still waiting for them to bring in George Strait for a halftime show.

Eventually people will catch on to the fact that the super Bowl halftime show is not meant to excite the older folks. The point is to get people watching which most that claimed they knew they would hate it still watched at least some of it. In that respect it's a win win for the NFL. Any publicity is good publicity.

Heck I'm not sure anyone can even say a halftime show is even meant to be entertaining. The sole purpose these days is to generate attention by any means necessary.

I think they threw some of us a bone with Lauren Daigle singing America the Beautiful and even it reeked of DEI.

I watched a little of it and couldn’t determine if it was family friendly or not. I don’t speak that language, so I got a drink, refilled my plate, and walked around outside for a while. It was a great halftime.
