Had all the rest, nothing compares for a cold weather rain setup sleeves won't even get wet. Had the same one for almost 10 years and still perfect

Simms Pro Dry. Best you can buy period. Buy once. Buy for life. Hide the receipt from your wife or it could cost you half of everything.

I have never been wet enough to want to spend that much.

I have zero regrets splurging on the set. I wear it in rain obviously, but also almost every trip in the winter as an outer wind break layer. I bought a size bigger than I needed so I easily layer underneath to maximize mobility. It's the thinnest most breathable set you can buy as well so in warm summer rain you don't sweat to death.

I carry 2:

Bass Pro Shops Gore Tex - Bought new in 1999. Use mostly in summer as it is lighter and more breathable.
Bass Pro Qualifier - Bought used on BBC about 5 years ago. Used when it is cooler or really cold outside.

It also never fails someone comes fishing with me and they don't have a rainout or even jacket.

Have a Columbia suit I’ve had a very long time. Has all the champ stuff on it so it’s at least 2001. Still works good but I don’t get out in the gunk much now.

Keep looking forward. That’s why windshields are larger than rear view mirrors.

For cold weather it's Cabela's Guidewear insulated.

For warm weather it's Cabela's MT50. I think they quit making it which is too bad. That stuff is great. I bought it back in 2011 before an Alaska fishing trip and it's still going strong.

As a coach of course mine is Under Armour Storm rain suit. And it actually keeps me real dry.
