OP Scuba Chris Extreme Angler S Joined: Mar 2018 Posts: 1,262 Oahu, Hawaii	This Rod Was Released by Okuma Fishing in 2025! Yes, Okuma USA is known for fairly priced fishing gear that are quality made. This year's first release is the new Okuma Custom "B" Menpachi Rods. These are Black & are canceling out the original Blue "A" series that i first reviewed years ago. These new carbon rods are lighter in weigh & stronger than the originals. If you need longer casting distance there's also the 12" & 13' models. But i wanted an "all around model". Since i reviewed the original A series before it's release i knew i needed the versatile 10'7" length (which sold out fast as proof of their good reputation last month).
