When they really get rolling they’ll fill up six feeders, neighbor has six and they’ll be stacked up on all of them. Then one day it’ll be the ten or twelve diehards that stay all summer. Then September it’ll be chaos all over. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.ibb.co/FhMPDVQ/Birds.jpg)

I only get one or two at my feeder. I left feeder up this winter. Figured I’d clean and put nectar in it a little later in the spring.
During our January snowstorm, I was standing at the window looking outside. A hummingbird landed on my feeder looking for something to eat. It was cold outside.
I immediately brought my feeder in, cleaned it up, and put fresh nectar in it. Next day, it showed up and got a good long drink.
Very cool and unexpected.

JR My wife birthday is middle of march, I just get them cleaned and refilled around that time so its ready when they get here-

JR In 2022 first hummer showed up here on March 25. In 2023 first hummer showed up here on March 27. In 2024 first hummer showed on March 28. My feeders go out second week of March.
