The Internet informs me that CW33 KDAF, virtual channel 33 (UHF digital channel 32) will be broadcasting Texas Rangers home games.
Y’all pick up that station no problem with indoor antennas (their transmitter is in Cedar Hill) …or you using an outdoor antenna?

Indoor antenna from Tool Tx hit or miss, antenna on roof 100% good, now I'm 60 miles as the crow flies from Cedar Hill,u in the Metroplex I would think the indoor antenna would be good.

Thanks…I’m 32 miles as the crow flies from Cedar Hill. My current indoor antenna…think it was $10 when I got it 20 years ago gets 50 of the DFW on air channels; including the Mavericks….but not CW.
Think I’ll try indoor first.

These new indoor antennas come with a plug in amplifier, I go to my antenna on the roof and rescan the channels using the outdoor antenna, once scaned I use the indoor antenna to get more channels, crazy I have 4 tvs one on DirecTV, two others on indoor antenna, and one other on a outdoor antenna mounted on the side of my house. Good Luck

Thanks again Ordered the Clearstream 2V from Walmart.com as it was on sale with free shipping. Looking forward to it…I prefer the over the air broadcasts as they aren’t digitally compressed…they look and sound better than cable/fiber/internet. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2025/02/full-30144-259037-img_9697.jpeg)

All Friday home games will be OTA And here's a little cheat sheet for the viewers in the area. The Rangers are providing fans with free over-the-air (OTA) games this season, the first time the club has included OTA games in its TV package since 2014. The club’s initial television schedule has 15 OTA broadcasts, nearly all for home Friday contests, the first being the club’s second regular season game on Friday, March 28 vs. Boston. Rangers Sports Network has agreements with Nexstar Media Group and Gray Media, both of which control several OTA stations throughout Rangers television territory in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Over-the-air game broadcasts in the Dallas-Fort Worth area will be televised on KDAF cw33, which is available on several carriers in the market. RSN plans to provide frequent updates regarding OTA game availabilities in the club’s television territory here. For a full list of Market Areas and Channels, click the dropdown below. Alexandria - Gulf Coast Sports Amarillo - KCPN Austin - KBVO Baton Rouge - CW21 Dallas - Fort Worth - CW33 El Paso (Las Cruces) - KTSM-Estrella Ft. Smith - Fayetteville - KXNW Harlingen - KGBT-MY Houston - CW39 Jonesboro - K8 CW Lafayette - KLFY Lake Charles - SWLA CW Laredo - South Texas Sports Lubbock - My Lubbock TV Little Rock - Pine Bluff - CW Arkansas Monroe - El Dorado - CW for the Arklamiss New Orleans - NOLA38-CW Odessa - KWWT My30 Oklahoma City - KAUT-CW33 San Antonio - KCWX2 Sherman - My12 Shreveport - KSHV V45 Tulsa - The Tulsa CW Tyler - Longview - KTPN Waco - Temple - Bryan - MyNet 28 Wichita Falls & Lawton - KJBO

Protecting the liberty of baseball broadcasts over radio waves and UHF/VHF is critical at this time. Generations of hard working Americans worked in the coal mines and the steel mills to build the radio/TV towers to the sky. Gathering around the radio and huddling around the TV to watch Harmon Killebrew, Rod Carew, Buddy Bell, and the great Nolan Ryan is part of the lifeblood of our nation. This family time forms the bonds at the foundation of our country; making it strong as the steel forged as mighty as the coal miner’s resolve. These ComcastDisneysiHeartmedias want to rip this away from the American family so you have to pay for a subscription to satisfy their board of directors. This cracks, crumbles, and withers away the roots of our land and it will not stand.

I was able to pick up CW33 last night once the clouds cleared….but I’ll wager that there will be no problems at all times with this newer, bigger indoor/outdoor antenna.
