I lived on gladewater 26 years, fun lake.. This time of year I would be on the northern end of lake fishing the east side grass with black and gold flake bass assasins. On the west
side of the northern end is boat houses I would throw black and blue jigs.. Fish both real slow.. Have a good time and enjoy the lake...

When I pass on I want to go like my grandpa, in my sleep.. Not like the screaming folks in the car with him..

Don't you need a permit to have a boat on Gladwater? I have heard that before but do not really know.

“Reservoir Controlling Authority”

Don’t think you need a permit. Call the phone #’s listed.

Thanks fouzman. There is a fee to launch but not fish.

Guess I’ll find out tomorrow. Didn’t see anything other than the launch fee. Rented an Airbnb with a dock.

Used to need an annual permit to launch a boat, but they now do daily permits. Just pay at the ramp... thumb
