I am going catfishing tonight at alan henry, have heard they are feeding in the new water as it come in. My question is how far to go up in the red water. I have tried brfore to no avail. Do I fish where it changes colors, ar way up river?

Fish the mud line. Most preditor fish will stage just outside it because it makes a great ambush spot.

I like to fish the bends. Find some eddy water and try there. If the creek is rising I will go up it, when it starts falling I like to fish closer to the lake.
