I realize you’re probably an expert in the field of aviation and obviously this is so cut and dry that you don’t need any piloting experience to see who caused this so I’ll ask you this. Whose fault would that altitude deviation be if the wrong altimeter setting was given?

That is easy. Clearly it is the helicopters fault.

no i have not flown a helicopter

I think you may be confused because of the video of the collision.
The plane was flying right at the camera and the landing lights were very bright. Now consider the helocopter flying at a 90 degree angle to the plane. He could not see those lights, at least not near as bright as the camera showed.

The other thing, that the blackhawk was told to pass after the plane landed. If he had the wrong plane that would make sense. If you look at the radar screen at runway 01, they initially turned where they would come in right behind a plane that was landing. Then when the ATC asked again they made several turns. I am thinking they are confused at that point. Maybe? Maybe not.

Well…this has gotten silly and I’m all out of words.

I got some beer to drink and some rigging to do on the boat. I’ve enjoyed the wisdom

I hope, it’s always nice to have a subject matter experts to dispel the myths.

Allison is “tutoring” him at their daily “meeting.” Soon we will have two who are self proclaimed experts on every subject posted on TFF. Unfortunately, neither has gotten past the remedial lessons. So we have the blind leading the blind while practicing their “driving.”

Think of the “remedial” version of Dumber and Dumbest. Then put them on acid, that’s them. 😂

Jeremiah 7:28 KJV

But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the Lord their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

Galatians 4 : 16

Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

Someone is looking dumber in this thread. The video I posted turned most of what people believed around.

Hoover, the former F15 pilot who hosts Pilot Debrief on You Tube is pretty good and I've been watching his videos for a year or more. He mostly reviews private plane crashes and why errors are the cause of most plane crashes. They are kind of addictive.

https://www.youtube.com/@pilot-debrief
He has a review of the Lynyrd Skynyrd plane crash. Its pretty interesting too.

What has happed to you does not define who you are-

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!
