I don't know squat about basketball but I did hear Charles Barkley and Steven A Smith both say that the Mavs were a better team right now and have a legit chance at another championship, for whatever that is worth.

No it would be like trading a star pitcher for a damn good player slightly older that can pitch and catch. Word. That is a lot of years. You are a good basketballer 1Shot. Man who knows his round ball. Why is 1Shot always talking about pitching and catching?

Mavs traded Jalen Brunsen too. Brilliant! All in? They didn't trade him. He wanted to stay but the Mavs waited too long and by then he wasn't interested and signed with the Knicks to be close to home. Yes, that was a bad move by the Mavs because they could have signed him for 4 years and $55m.

Only one NBA team has been to the finals 2 of the last 3 years, the Mavs. Luka and his "out of shape" and 'no defense playing" [censored] took 2 different teams with a bunch of different guys to those finals. So yes it's the dumbest sport decision in DFW since Jerry fired Jimmy. It was stupid as hell.
Disclaimer: I'm not a huge basketball fan but I can see stupid decisions made by a GM as I'm a lifelong Cowboys fan. Fake News Real news 1shot, this happened right here in DFW. This isn't something you could read in the Kilgore News Herald.

Only one NBA team has been to the finals 2 of the last 3 years, the Mavs. Luka and his "out of shape" and 'no defense playing" [censored] took 2 different teams with a bunch of different guys to those finals. So yes it's the dumbest sport decision in DFW since Jerry fired Jimmy. It was stupid as hell.
Disclaimer: I'm not a huge basketball fan but I can see stupid decisions made by a GM as I'm a lifelong Cowboys fan. Fake News Real news 1shot, this happened right here in DFW. This isn't something you could read in the Kilgore News Herald. The Mavs have only been to 3 finals. 2006, 2011, 2024. The Celtics have went 2 out of the last 3 though.... Are you even a real coach?

Long term it appears to be a bad deal, however Luka is due to receive a "Super Max" contract, Mavs may have decided it wasn't worth it. $350 million over 5 years for a guy who is one of the best when he wants to be. I believe there was some frustration from the Mav's front office concerning his work ethic and physical conditioning.
So he got fat and lazy and they did not want to give him "SUPER MAX"? You make it sound like the man eats "Super Size". Thats messed up cuz Messed up to you, bro. Yes SuperMax is real, but as you said earlier you don't know squat about the NBA.

He might do that thing that some “once-hot but now-not” chicks do after you boot them out. You dump them because they get all fat, mouthy and lazy…then you see them a year or so later and they’re smoking hot again. You wish you could have more romps with ‘em but they hate you now because “you’re the shallow guy who couldn’t look past the fat”.

Conference finals I should have said. No I'm not a real basketball coach and I've never coached basketball and only watch the Mavs when they're in the playoffs. You can't read stuff like that in the Kilgore News Herald.
