Staterd out early today making happy place's for the crappie. Had 36 cedar trees.
We added to current piles and made 3 new ones.

I like using cedar , lasts a long time.

You will make a lot of folks happy with those piles. they are easier to find than put out, smile

There were 3 big cedars that had fallen on the shore near our neighborhood. Then they disappeared, I have found two,
still looking for the other.

Big thanks to whomever sank them , saved me some work.

Good stuff! I need to get a couple places fixed back up! Gotten lazy since the scope came out! Figured somebody else would have rebrushed a few by now but they haven't! thumb

Cedar is good, but bois darc and bamboo are the best for longevity

Alot of the spots we added to were bamboo. We have found that the cedar works best for us . We have over 15 piles now.

Bois D' Arc is excellent and more plentiful in my area. Love sinking brush piles.....maybe more than fishing.
