I am doing the Keys late May starting in Boca Grande. Spoke with several guides and settled on Captain Mike Manning. We are targeting big Tarpon. It he does it all. Contact information below.

Thanks Lookin, but we're staying in the Miami area. Does Mike guide there as well?

Met Ully about 22 years ago when he was a kayak fisherman roflmao, ran into him on the water in Biscayne Bay and once in Chokolosskee, Everglades. roflmao We had a mutual friend, Fishhead. Glad to see how well he has done at guiding.. easiest guy to talk to that you will ever meet. Found the video below of him guiding a guide, a few years ago... tell him a friend of Fishhead (deceased) recommended him. He guides Flamingo as well.

If you are talking about freshwater , Beware of the peacock bass fishing , I have seen reports of lots of peacock dying from the last cold
spell they had down there.
I fished there one year , about two years removed from a freeze. We caught maybe 10 , guide told me he had 100 fish days
commonly before the freeze.

Good luck

Yep!

Mo, we're inland fishing. Snook, maybe small tarpon, permit. Not sure if the redfish are up shallow there or not, but we'll find out!

Got that on the list. And looks like we'll have a trip with Ully as well. He spoke very highly of your friend, Fishhead. Thanks IConn.
