Decent might be stretching it but the Sanger Inn is where I typically stay there.

Decent might be stretching it but the Sanger Inn is where I typically stay there. That was one I was looking at. Didn’t seem much to choose from that was “reasonable”

The Mexican restaurant by it is decent and sportsmans has good breakfast burritos

BOOOOOOO Have you been there recently? They are building new and renovating the old. They are also adding in boat slips, which is / not a bad thing, and are doing quite a bit for the city.

Have not and will not if I can help it. Makes the area more busy, more light pollution, more pleasure boaters, etc..., I am against any kind of development on the corps property that is not already in place. For reference, a home owner whose property abuts the corps land you are allowed to maintain a footpath to the water and that is it. Guess if you have big money those rules do not apply...

I couldn't believe how many trees the state park let them cut. Hope a storm takes out those docks. We surely don't need more ski boats and cruisers.

The owner of Lonestar is my neighbor and a long time friend, he has had all kinds of issues trying to complete that marina, a lot was because of his own fault and TPWD, I think the city of Pilot Point has been quite helpful, hope it all works out for everyone.

Sorry if I was negative towards your neighbor's project. I just hate how Jordan ramp went from being a beautiful state park to a marina storage unit.
