Nope. We'll have to go up to DammYankeeLand sometime in the not too distant future and we'll drive straight thru. With the combination of flying being deathly boring and the airport hassles with TSA &c driving's worth it.
Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.

Since I retired almost 8 years ago, I have not flown once. I flew quite a bit with my job and got really tired of airports, the security hassles, cancelled or delayed flights, missing connections and most other things about it. However it was nice to fly across country in a few hours vs. many, many hours in a car.
That being said, I'm going on my first flight since I retired in August. My wife and I are going on an Alaskan cruise going out of Seattle.

We picked up my grandaughter at CRP a couple of days ago. The AA flight arrived 30 minutes early if you can believe that. She's visiting for a few days and then heads to Australia to study for a few years. That flight is a 17+ hour flight out of Houston. She's 19. Her parents live in Hungary and air/train travel is quite common for them.
