Looking for a good beginner glide bait. I'm never thown a glide bait and want to learn. I would like to be able to throw it on a MH or H rod. I have no idea where to even begin or what color to start with I primarily fish ponds. All help appreciated. I would also like to stay in that 50ish dollar price point.

Clutch Eco Glide, Spro Chad Shad and Baitsanity Chimera are all really good. That Eco Glide is all but indestructible.

I keep colors simple, shad colors or bone.

Berkley cullshad are soft body swim baits if your budget is smaller, bout half the price of some of those mentioned above.

It's not a glide bait though. They are nothing alike in action and technique.

Savage gear shine glide is less than $20 and gets bit. An underappreciated bait for sure.
