My ex-wife once said to me "I don't know whats wrong with the oven, everything I put in it gets burned".

Since retirement I cook 2-3 meals a week. I have my own recipe box with maybe 50 recipe's in it and most are hand written, A lot of them come off of FB Reels. 98% are meat centered. And then I have another 8-10 just in my head. This doesn't count breakfasts .

I also man the grills but I'll admit Mrs. RayBob enjoys running the smoker.

My wife can cook and I can cook. I can eat almost anything she makes but she doesn't like to eat what I make. So she does most of the cooking of the inside stuff and I cook the outside stuff if needed.

My wife's a great cook... But if the weather cooperates I fire up the grill and cook... We probably grill 5 days a week on average... Eat out one day and the other is a toss up... Dan

My wife can cook, but I cook better. She gets done driving the school bus around 6pm. I do most of the cooking because of her hours.

Do you remember the commercial about the old dude that wished he had been a chef? It was years ago… I don’t remember what the commercial was about but always thought the guy was basically saying he wanted to come out of the closet. roflmao : bolt

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

My wife doesn't cook! I do all of the cooking. That way, I cook what I want to eat. Plus, I get up at 2:15am for work and usually in bed by 6:30. She doesn't get home until 5:30.

My wife is not a Bad Cook .......She is a HAZARD in the kitchen.

She can dirty up every pot and pan in the kitchen, making microwave popcorn.

I'm glad there are wine drinkers in this world ..... it saves more beer for the rest of us.

I know that dinner is ready at my house, when the smoke detector goes off.

I cook some, but the wife and two daughters are into it. They're always trying new recipes and they're good at it. Wish the daughters would've been as into it when they still lived at home.

I can cook somethings but my wife is a more diverse cook. She can cook anything and it will be good.

I do a great lasagna. I took the recipe for "Lots of Meat Lasagna" from Paula Dean and doctored it up a little to my liking. Most of the time I cook a pretty good Jambalaya, Gumbo and Etouffee unless I use a cheap/old rice. Right GTrigg!

I can cook some really good seafood but good seafood is hard to come by here. When I was in high school and during breaks in college I worked at a retail and wholesale seafood store and they sent me and a few other folks there to a specialized James Beard seafood cooking school. They wanted us to be able to tell customers how to cook seafood they had purchased from us. They even had a recipe rack filled with the various recipe cards for us to give to the customers. They wanted is to know how to cook almost anything so they would even give us seafood if we would use one of the recipes from the rack. I ate A LOT of seafood those days!
