Yeah it would take a couple of years for a farmer to get fruit from plants. You have to start somewhere though.

I find it ironic that the media is all about telling us tariffs will raise prices when a year ago "tax the rich and corporations" and it was crickets on how much that would cost consumers.

Any way you cut it things are going to cost more with these tariffs. For how long who knows nor does anyone know if the prices will come down if the tariffs are lifted. If prices go crazy, I hope they don't, I may have to re-think retiring this year.

I'll be stunned if there isn't a big downward swing. Tariff's pay off in the long run, but in the short term they can be disastrous. There needs to be an income tax reduction to keep spending up.

It won’t matter where it comes from. It can be grown in Fort Worth and the prices are going to raise the same as coming from Mexico.
Our great US growers and manufacturers will take every chance they can to raise the prices. And when the tariffs disappear they won’t lower the price.
In 40 years of working in a specific industry I never saw a manufacturer lower prices.

I just ride the waves these days.

Most of it comes from our border states now
