Yes you are changing your plans or yes I am safe? If I'm safe, what about the ATC towers full of people don't knowing what they're doing? You’re safe. There’s nobody in any tower that doesn’t know what they’re doing There are people in every profession that suck. What a stupid statement.

You can die stepping off a curb. Can't worry about things you can't control. This is so very true^^^^^^^^^^^ Never be so afraid of dying that you avoid really living- So why all the news about untalented under performing DEI ATCs? ALWAYS look at reported news with a slanted eye- Translation=I dont trust the news, its the same bunch that just lied about that tard biden and his mental capacity- Fair enough, but the POTUS was telling all media sources this, that the ATCs were under qualified, untalented, DEI hires. His press sec. said on day 1 that they weren't going to tolerate lies and fake news. How can the media report honest news in a situation like this?

Looks like DEI standards for ATCs haven't changed significantly since the Obama administration. You should be safe to fly. DEI Standards

Someone that fails training but goes from airline to airline and finds one with lower training requirements. Check out air disasters somtime. Some slip through the cracks. No industry is perfect.

i'm hearing that ATC folks live shorter lives from all the stress, doesn't sound enjoyable, maybe there are rewarding aspects to that line of work, not sure.
Any ATC types on here? It's tough pushing tin.

Safe is relative, I think flying is still safe … BUT it’s not as safe as it was 4 years ago with DEI passing over more qualified ATC candidates and way more suboptimally vetted “immigrants” released into the country.
