hey guys. i am looking to buy one of the gps/dpth finder combos. i was wondering what ya'll like and what you would suggest.

I would higly recomend the Lowrance 520c. I have the 332, which is what the 520 replaced, and I love it!!!!

humminbird!! Lowrance will stiff you, then ask you to upgrade for more money....

Lowrance by far. I had a 337c and it was borrowed by some unknown bandit. Don't know what model replaces it!

I just got the chance to use my new lms-522c and it is assume. I have the lcx-25c on my console and well I have two color units. I will never go back to black and white. I paid $410.00 at cabelas for the 522. thumb

just installed a 525c that i bought on e-bay for 650. i spent 3 hrs on the lake sunday....am impressed w/the unit. also bought a chip from cabelas that i'm gonna check out this weekend.

I have both the Lowrance 520C and 522C sonar/GPS units. Both are VERY nice. You can often find them in the Bargain Cave at Cabelas as well and save some $$$.
