OP lconn4 TFF Guru L Joined: Dec 2012 Posts: 24,694 Cherokee County	Short day, on the water around 2:00, off at dark.. stayed up against the bank.. threw spinner bait, jerk bait, chatter bait and 5 inch swimbait.. finally got bit on swimbait and put the rest of the stuff away.. caught 3 on 4 bites.. it’s getting better.. fish were right up against the reeds in areas where old pad stems were still visible. Water only 2 feet deep..did t have graph so don’t know what temps were. 20.5 inches, and fat.. didn’t weigh but had to be over 5 lbs.. A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated. I have this thing about never hitting the same hole two days in a row.. against my better judgement I went back Saturday afternoon ... was headed to Lake of the Pines and turned around and went back to Palestine. I get there and there are trailers everywhere.. heard there was a Media tournament.. lady tells me 67 boats launched from there.. it was too late to change plans again so off I went.. it was a mud hole: boats everywhere.. managed 4 bites but only landed one.. small..
