This was really interesting to me. 2 studies prove that largemouth bass have color vision, but have trouble telling the difference between some colors. I especially found the 1937 study was well ahead of it's time, and had some findings not covered in the follow up study. Your thoughts?

Interesting, I fished at Bob Sandlin one day last winter on a real good peak on the solunar table and they were on fire. I was catching a lot of fish and getting a lot of bites I missed or would come off halfway to the boat . I was throwing a Strike King red crawfish 1.5 squarebill and eventually broke it off. I didn't have another one so I tied on the same thing in sexy shad. The fish didn't see to care at all what color I was throwing. They came after the sexy shad just as well.

I saw a video a guy made while drift fishing for flounder with a yellow bucktail jig. The flounder(called Fluke where he was) would chase and bite at the jig until it got caught. I've always had better lure reception by flounder in a yellow color. Wonder if the color or the action/motion was what made them chase the lure? Maybe their eyes see yellow well? Fluke and Flounder are actually two different fish.
