…We Didn’t Know then?

We gonna catch every fish that’ll bite using FFS! Every day. In competition? For perpetuity?
Lake Conroe is a fine example to begin 2025.

My point is, we can seine our lakes with rod and reel and FFS Sonar. + Natural and Tournament mortality. Quickly.

Or?

I'm happy Lake Conroe is farther away from the lakes I fish. The circus will be there for months and I'll have the lakes near me to myself.

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

I think their rules will change again, soon.

I would suggest 2 periods. Period 1 with FFS. Period 2 w/o FSS.

But then again, I would guess all but a few of those BPT guys wish they were in the Elites.

Fixed it for you. Same goes for all but a few of the guys on the Elites.

This is probably true for most as they get a little older and worn down from the travel and rigors of it all. Its nice to see that there are still young guys eager to get out there and fish 300 days a year, cant fault them for wanting to do that, just a challenge to sustain.

I can’t help but feel like this is not sustainable for our resource. Eventually we will outgrow it and outfish it. There used to be millions of buffalo roaming the plains. How many do you see now?

Look at the bottom of the standing for two days. That is where most non pros will be with FFS.

Saw herd of buffalo a couple of weeks age driving through the Smoky Mountains... A few are painting a dismal picture of the future of fishing but does anyone think we're catching every single bass that lives in a lake every single year???... I could care less if you have it or not... Will have it or not in the future... Or won't... Just go fishing and enjoy yourself... Dan

If anyone has any doubts on how many fish there are our there, just call TPWD or your state fisheries folks and tell them you want to volunteer to help out with the next shocking survey. Odds are, you will leave feeling like there are plenty of fish, i know it made me realize just how average of a fisherman I am.
