Water temp 46-48 Water- “dirty” in the creek arms and pretty clean on main lake
The crappie fishing is pretty decent for late January, we aren’t far at all from catching them very steady in shallow water. Days away instead of weeks away. The spring anticipation is very close, 10-14 days away from really good crappie fishing. If we don’t an adequate amount of rain between now and the end of February you’ll be able to catch them under boat docks and shallow brush as well as, bridges. No minnows needed this time of year, 1/16 jigs work just fine. A lot of the times we are pitching our baits over the structure and letting it swing right over the top of them and watching them hit our baits. It’s a pretty good “thump” right now. I’m very excited about this spring, I think the lake and fish are both very healthy. If you’re interested in booking a crappie trip on Cedar Creek, give me a call or text at (903) 203-3768

I have friends in waxahachie that gives me a good reason, your pic makes me want to burn down there and try it out. I was told about a secret place in town there loaded with crappie and bass…… give me another excuse to go too
Kyle is the man! Got to fish with him on Tuesday. He is very professional, personable and knowledgeable about crappie and livescope. I look forward to our next outing.
