 Repurposing existing electronics question

Getting back into fishing and also acquiring a new to me boat. The boat currently has a Helix 7 on the bow and a helix 5 at the console. I plan on replacing those with newer Garmins, possibly LS at bow and side and down scan at the helm. Man how technology has changed since being out of fishing for a while....
Is there any advantage to running the helix with along with the Garmins since they are on the boat anyway? Is there any value in running something on either of the Helix and running something different on the Garmins?

I run GPS on my older Humminbirds (Hellix and 1198) as I like the mapping software and unit capabilities. Neither even have a transducer hooked up to them. Do my sonar and scanning with two other Lowrances. Works great.

I’d give up down scan, side scan, sonar and FFS before I’d give up my lakemaster charts.
