It's going to be a nasty day 1 of qualifying tomorrow. 100% chance of rain and winds 15-20 mph. The next three days will be fine as wine.

There will be some big fish caught wouldn’t surprise me if a 11+ is caught, big girls bite in nasty weather. It could be delayed also.

Considering that they can only use ffs for 1 period each day I think it will be very interesting to see how this shakes out. You might see some of the ffs guys spin out without their most important tool and actually have to fish old school for them. Can't believe there isn't more buzz about this.

There isn't many DDs being caught the last couple years. Almost seems that age group of fish is missing. Between a few of us we have already caught 4 between 7-9 this month which is on par for last year. They will catch plenty of that class i think, but I'm doubtful of a DD. Would love to see it though.

Are they for sure staying on Conroe the whole event or is there a chance they move lakes after the cut days?

Definitely will be interesting to watch…this article indicates they are having a tough time without the FFS. Water temps last weekend were 43-45.
