Overcast, foggy, cool day, but got a limit of Reds today, in my skiff. Fished the same spot last week, and caught 15 Reds, but the biggest was 18". Today, two guys were in the spot, catching numerous shorts. When they left, they said they caught one slot Red and a few drum. I moved into their spot, thinking I would catch a few shorts. I did, but finally got a 25", a 24", and a 22" limit. Unusual for me, but very satisfying. Beats being home, where my wife, the world's worst patient, is sick. I did find her a nice, large Lightning Whelk for her shell collection. IslandJim
I'm an Eighth Day Adventist. On the Eighth Day, God went fishing!

Winter fishing is like that for reds. I went out a few days ago and hit a deep gut that me and some friends like to go to in the winter. It was alll I could catch reds between 14-18”. I literally got tired of catching undersized reds so I left. My friends went there (same exact spot) the next day and caught a 2 man limit of reds. 🤷♂️
