How often do you guys change out your braided line especially if you fish a lot?

Only time I ever replace braid is when I've cut off enough from retying or fraying from rocks and it gets low on the spool.

Kind of depends on what I’ve been using it for. For the most part I’d say I get a season out of it. One thing you might do that extends the life is take your setup out to an open area, let all the line out, spool it up old end first, this will give you fresh new line

I do something like that I just tie onto another reel and go reel to reel. Doing it this way I replace it every 2 years. I only use braid on my frog rod and Carolina rig.

rarely, had some that was pretty faded so i replaced it. The biggest reason is im fishing a lake that braid is not needed and I need the combo for something else.

It will start fraying over time and reduce your distance on each cast. Can’t give a specific time but when it starts discoloring or fraying I’ll replace and am always amazed at how much further I can throw with new line.

Like the reel to reel to reel transition (yes 3 times) . Just transitioned a reel last week,

For the last few years on my braid that I use for flipping etc I will usually use it for the year then pull it off and respool it back on and use it for another year. My braid that I might use for like Topwater etc where I cast it alot I will replace it at the end of every year but these days I don't fish as much as probably most of the guys on this forum.

For braid, I've found that braid which is wound more into a circular pattern than flat, frays less, has less fade, and tends to last longer.

Daiwa J-Braid
Suffix 832
Sunline Xplamsa

Just to name a few.
