Well I was considering taking the boy there this weekend for the Fun N Sun Adult/Youth derb out there, I'm not so sure any more! I've never been, it's a 2 hour haul down there from here.
Fork may be better?

I wonder how many gallons of piss have been leaked on that road over the years, ditto on not needing a reservation anymore, like many things I think they stopped caring about that post covid

Y’all are doing it all wrong. Show up at 8 fish till 2, and don’t tournament fish.

Yep it’s a terrible lake, no fish, it’s cold, terrible road conditions, rude fishermen, awful just awful. If you were thinking about going you should just stay home and watch KC Chiefs reruns, thats what I do. Fishing is overrated anyway.

THIS for sure. I drive from Lake Fork and figured this out, exactly correct! Don't get up at 3:30-4:00AM, get up about 5:00am, boat already hooked up, leave at 5:340, 2hrs-45mins you are there, get there one hour after daylight, NO ONE is in front of you. Slide down to the ramp, no waiting, launch boat, go catch 30+ fish, not big, 2-3 #, and head home about 2-3 o'clock. Absolute UTOPIA!!! bolt
