Anyone have any CD's/Savings with Discover? Have you got your tax forms in the portal yet? Like for that 1099INT
Last year and year before they online by the 5th of Jan. Odd to be the 27th and not there yet?

All my bank accounts are not available online yet But normally not ready until last week of January.

I have both a savings and CD's at Discover and the 1099's aren't available yet on the website. I can go back several years and they have always posted to my account on Jan. 7th, not sure why the delay this year.

Same thing I am seeing and also lines up with my past experiences with Discover. I guess we just have to sit tight a few days... Good to know I am not the only one who has not got their documents yet.

We have received hard copies of all of our CD interest and all 1099’s except for one.

1099s are not due until Jan 31st... they may just be a little slower this year

What's the point of reporting a savings account or cd. I wouldn't think it'd help get you a return does it

What's the point of reporting a savings account or cd. I wouldn't think it'd help get you a return does it No. It does not. I am interested in what you have to say though! My wife and I made money on CD's this year. Not huge money, but enough it would be worth a look on an audit. I need to report it as the IRS will count it as income that was not taxed, no? The bank says they reported this as income for us to the IRS. I always use a popular Tax software and when I add those 1099-INT numbers, the little tracker on my refund goes down (or up if I was owing) at about a rate of 20% of that interest we earned. I like to pay my fair share, you have any loopholes or want not? PS I am NOT a Fed.

I just collect all the paperwork, my wife puts all that info into a spreadsheet and Uncle Zeek takes care of the rest.
