Jerry is gonna start feeling it in his wallet.

Disagree, they had a bad season because they were devastated with injuries, cannot believe everyone is making such a big deal about the coaching hire, the guy has not even coached a preseason game yet and he is hung out to dry smh. The Cowboys will have plenty prime time games, they are either loved or hated so people going to watch one way or another. As far as Jerry's wallet goes, if the NFL is making money Jerry is making bank.

And another post about making money over winning anything. You're a strange cat happy.

All I said is if the NFL is making money then Jerry is making money, never said a dam thing about winning anything.
I guess you haven't noticed. Jerry hasn't won a damn thing in 30 years.

I was replying to what Mark had posted, maybe you should go back and read it, or at least make a comment that had to do with what we were posting about.

Cowboys are the most popular football team in the world. Just about anywhere you go you will see a Cowboy hat or shirt. Second place isn’t even close.

I was on Safari in the Serengeti, Peacock Bass fishing in Brazil and in the Galapagos. Both staff had a couple of fans wearing a cap or shirt. I like American Football….”my favorite team is the Cowboys”.

Apparently suffering is enjoyed world wide.

Where did we get the idea to pass up on coaching football?

He sure has..... good on him... 👍👍

Based off the some of the comments the real message this coaching "search" is getting lost....

Jerry made no real effort to interview as many qualified candidates as he possibly could.....criminal for a GM.... Just another example of his total football incompetence....

I hope Schottenheimer ends up being a great head coach, but, his results on the ole tally board are, well, let's say mediocre....

BUT, he's certainly qualified to be just another Jerry and Stephen lackey....on paper the ultimate toady....

This simply means more of the same....

Jerry bumbling around "ugh ugh'n" BS bumbling with a bunch of microphones in his face....at best not saying much of anything or making no sense, at worst lying straight to our faces....just as he's done for 3 decades...

Stephen will be analyzing the cap figuring out how to put together a "no risk" roster squeezing every dime.....but it'll be "relevant".... at least that'll be the goal....

Ticket prices will go up.... beer /\..... Nachos /\.... Burgers /\.... Stadium tour /\.... Frisco tour /\.... etc etc etc... more $$$ for the empire.....

I've caught flack over the years when I've stated, over and over again, that the Jones primary goal for the team is to be "relevant"....

Jerry is petrified to be irrelevant... the Dallas Cowboys are the center of his self image... after all who or what would Jerry be without them???

Take away the team from him and he'd just be a running joke, until the joke faded away into the dustbin of football history.... the biggest joke in Canton.

Several lessons can be learned from DC....

They jettisoned Lil Danny into the ether, found competent ownership that wants to win.... and now they're on the rebound. At the very least the focus is on the FIELD, just as it should be....

The Cowboys focus is on Jerry....just as he wants it to be...

I saw where Jimmy Johnson said Shotty would be the most logical answer at coach last week, Rex Ryan spoke very highly of him, they were both onboard with the hire for whatever that is worth.

Jerry Jones and the Cowboys are a joke .
Long as he is in the media and his sheep keep buying tickets it will never change .
He is all in !
It all about Jerry and he could care less what people think , he even said he will be the GM till he dies .

So even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the America’s team. I have a dream that one day Charlotte will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all NFL teams are created equal with great parity.

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Turtle Creek, the daughter of a former tyrannical buffoon owner will be not be able to sit down and will rise up together at the table of hiring a great GM.

Let's hope they're correct Kamp....👍

I feel bad for him.... Schottenheimer is a running joke right now, and he certainly doesn't deserve to be treated that way. He's taking punches that should 💯% be aimed at Jerry. Let's hope he gets the last laugh....

Until it hits him in the checkbook, nothing is going to change how Jerry manages the team. If people would stop going to games, buying merch, etc we might see a positive change, but even then I doubt it. It's always been his little toy that keeps him relevant.
