Can anyone give an honest opinion on the newer Nitro bass boats.
I’ve only heard bad things about the older boats but what about the newer ones?

Mediocre at best. Fit and finish are sub standard.

Even if they were the best boat made they will have the worst resale value.

Don't have a dog in this fight, but you should go to Garland BP and go for a test drive. Nitro has upped their game since Johnny got Triton and Ranger. I've been a boat official on the BPT for 4 years and thought the same as Frank about Nitro. WRONG! I've been in brand new ones every year since 2020 and they ride as well as any boat out there. Fit and finish is good as well. Go see for yourself. Don't have a clue about resale, that's a case supply and demand. thumb

I've got a 2021 z20. No worse quality than my skeeter was.

I like them. I'd buy one and run one probably before some other brands. I like the layout on some of the models a lot

Partner ran a newer Z21 a couple of years ago. It was well built and I really enjoyed fishing out of it. That boat impressed me a lot.

I’m running a 2022 Z19 w/200 Merc 4 stroke. 210 hours on it with zero issues.

Definitely no speed demons but I was pleasantly surprised how well they rode in the few I've been in, they are kinda middle of the road as far a fit and finish now since Ranger and Triton were brough under the same BPS umbrella, re-sale value isn't the greatest. Wouldn't be my first pick in brands but for the right price I wouldn't oppose buying one.

I have a 2020 Z20 have not had a problem with anything so far. Okay, I did have a problem with the trailer steps breaking off, but it’s not the boat. The trailers are not the best in the world for sure. I am not looking to purchase another boat for a long time and if I do I will downsize a good bit. But Nitro’s are built as good as most of the other brands out there.

When I get in the market for a new boat, it will be either a Nitro Z21 or Skeeter ZXR 21.

They’re good. Fish good, and run well. I’d own another without question

I still wish I would considered buying yours. That's one of the best boats I've fished from.
