My favorite David Allan Coe song on Youtube. The song is too racy to post a link.

My favorite David Allan Coe song on Youtube. The song is too racy to post a link. Nick Byrd plays that song on a continuous loop in his work truck.

The voices, they are back. Do you have a dark passenger? Na, they're singing We Shall Overcome in Spanish.

Crank it up and tear the knob off! I haven't had a CD player in a vehicle since like 2015, even if I did I couldn't find one CD of mine even if someone had a gun to my head...

I don’t ever use my CD player. It’s probably had the same CD in it since 2015. Bluetooth music streaming is just too easy and cheap. Sounds about 90% as good as CD to me. I remember when cars didn’t come with CD players. Now…the higher end optioned cars don’t have them again. Instead, they want a giant touch screen and no place for a disc slot. Haha. Anyone remember the first vehicle with a CD player as an option? Hint….it was a Ford/Lincoln/Mercury product. …..and what was the last vehicle to offer a cassette player as an option?

He77 Steez, my truck has a CD player and a cassette player. What year is it. Hahaha. The last factory installed cassette player was installed ina 2010 Lexus 430. The first factory installed CD player was in a 1087 Lincoln TownCar. Your truck must be a mid/early 2000’s Chevy or GMC. I think the last truck I worked on with both was 2002 Silverado. Had a am fm cd up top with a cassette in the little cubby hole above the cup holders.
