I've known him personally for 35 years. Good guy and a hard worker. He came to Texas illegally in 1989. We've worked together for a long time until he started his own lawn business several years ago. Now he's afraid to go do lawns because he says the mexican media that he listens to has him very scared.

Time to fire up the ol' Toro and Echo! These weeds ain't gonna cut themselves.

Pretty sure as long as he’s not a violent criminal or child molester he’s safe….

I'm sure he's probably worried about someone Ratz-in-him out too.

We shouldn’t hire them if possible.

My thoughts as well. I mean, I’m sorry because I’m sure he’s a hard worker, but…..

Had a friend whose status was questionable at best. He used to travel back and forth the Mexico a couple times a year to visit family. During Trumps first term, he would not go because he feared he couldn’t get back in. Im sure, he will be laying low again this term. He’s been here since the early 70’s.

My thoughts, as well, but unless he's a rapist, serial killer, or child molester he's not the type they're after, for now.

Guess you could always hire a legal citizen to mow your yard.

agreed. Then try to figure out why the guy's not there. Why the lawns not cut the way you wanted. Pay $100 more and get some lip when the job is done and you arent happy about it. Sadly this is true.

Life journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved state.
But rather skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy carp what a ride!"

Trust me, I agree with everything said here. He has had his chances and not taking advantage of that opportunity. He said he can’t apply because he has been caught too many times going back-and-forth over the years..

Woulda coulda shoulda. Oh well.

If I knew how to text him one of those tiny fiddle icon emoji things, I would
