I left for India the day it started snowing, I left the facuets dripping in the exterior lavs and where I would not drip I put a heater in that area on the lowest setting just to ensure I do not come back to an indoor pool. The minute cost will be far less than the cost of repairs, damage, lost items, etc.

Why? I had a great trip, visited with my in-laws. Had amazing food, saw sights and learned history, participated in very important to them traditions, etc. I would say people who are closed-minded, dismissive, and shun experiencing things are the poor guys.
