26F and cloudy at the Waco airport. Today's high is forecasted at 34F. No real wind to speak of.

12 deg in Big Spring this morning just before the sun came up. Coldest so far this year here as far as I know. I’ll be bitching about the heat in 6 months. I’m just thankful I don’t have to work outside anymore if I don’t want to. I also don’t enjoy fishing or hunting anymore in the extremes of hot or cold. I’m 70 now and the last 5 years have changed a lot for me, but I’m glad to still be here and thankful I still know who people are. And especially glad I can play and watch my 18 month old grandson growing up.

27 in Onalaska this morning, a light dusting of snow, all in all a big nothing burger. Seems even the weather forecasting has been sensationalized.

Below 0F all day after waking up to -30F two days in a row.
A "warming trend" is on the way, but I fear we won't go above freezing any time soon.
