I am huge Trump fan, but this is borderline silly in my opinion. For hundreds of years it has been the Gulf of Mexico. I will still consider it the Gulf of Mexico.

Lame, just like changing the names of military bases. For once, I agree with this commie from California. I said it earlier on here. Changing names of things is a liberal move. Be better. If you want to change something, change everything back to pre-Biden. Erase everything that loser did.

I could be wrong but think it's so we can continue to get oil from the Gulf of Mexico after Biden 86d it I had not thought of this angle. If Biden's executive order calls for the ban in the Gulf of Mexico, Trump just eliminated the Gulf of Mexico. We will likely see how the courts like this.

Odds, 10000 to 1 that it would make a difference. Since the rulings have not gone to SCOTUS on the point, he's just testing the waters. He did it before and it was not taken up by SCOTUS so the case was dismissed as being moot when Biden took office. It is interesting the confusion he has started. All maps will need to be changed. All legislation. Ads, trips through etc. It will cost billions in the end. Sort of like making everyone come back to work, unintended consequences. Actually, other than the government, I think the world will try to ignore it. By the way, states that are on the two coasts do not want drilling off their shores.

I'll be in the Gulf of America on Saturday. My wife is in the Gulf of Mexico today. Well, they are at Progresso today. It will be a joke on most cruises is my guess.
